The JVC S-77 is a compact 3-way bass reflex loudspeaker that was produced between 1980 and 1981 in Japan. This model features a low-frequency cone with a diameter of 250 mm, a midrange cone measuring 120 mm, and a tweeter with a diameter of 60 mm. The speakers have a nominal power handling of 60 W and can manage music power up to 120 W. With an efficiency rating of 91 dB, they offer a frequency response range from 45 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with transitional ranges of 1,900 Hz for midrange and 11,000 Hz for high frequencies. The impedance is rated at 8 Ohm. The S-77 has a removable front cover, and its design integrates a stylish silver aesthetic. The dimensions of the speakers are 290 mm in width, 590 mm in height, and 258 mm in depth, while they weigh approximately 9 kg per unit. The original price at launch was around 498 DM for the pair.
