The Luxman MQ-360 is a tube power amplifier, manufactured from 1985 to 1989 in Japan. It is designed to operate in the class A range, offering a distinct sound quality characteristic of vacuum tube equipment. This model employs a self-bias method and features a driver circuit utilizing bi-triode 6CG7 tubes, which deliver low impedance drive power and facilitate effective operation within a push-pull configuration. The amplifier is built with a high-capacity transformer to ensure stability during overcurrent conditions and features a specially designed ultra-linear output transformer. The frequency response ranges from 10 Hz to 30 kHz, with a total harmonic distortion (THD) rated at 0.2% at 1W and 2% at 40W. Signal-to-noise ratio stands at 100 dB. The device is equipped with one line input and headphone output, enabling easy connectivity. Its dimensions are 434 mm (W) x 176 mm (H) x 252 mm (D) and it weighs 19 kg, consuming 290 W of power.
