Cayin is manufactured by Zhuhai Spark Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd., founded in 1993 and dedicated to developing high-quality audio equipment. Originally sold under the Spark brand until 1997, the company adopted the Cayin name worldwide after Thomas Deyerling founded Cayin Audio Distribution GmbH Germany in 1998. Zhuhai Spark later acquired global naming rights for the Cayin brand. The company produces over 100 different hi-fi devices including vacuum tube integrated amplifiers, digital audio players, portable amplifiers, desktop systems, and in-ear monitors, all hand-wired and manufactured in China. In 2013, Cayin expanded into personal audio with digital audio players. The company offers attractive price-performance ratios with worldwide distribution through over 20 distributors and provides a 3-year guarantee on devices and 2-year guarantee on tubes.
