The Harman/kardon HD 7425 is a compact CD player that was manufactured between 1993 and 1995 in Malaysia. Designed with a sleek black and champagne finish, it weighs approximately 4.7 kg and has dimensions of 442 x 92 x 326 mm (WxHxD). This model features a remote control for convenient operation and consumes 20 W of power. In terms of connectivity, it offers one stereo RCA line output (with a level of 2.2V at a 10kOhm load and 0dBFS), one digital coaxial output (0.5V at a 75Ohm load), and a remote input. The player employs an RLS 2x18-bit linear/channel converter and utilizes 4-fold oversampling technology. Its frequency response spans from 4 Hz to 20,000 Hz with a deviation of +0/-1.5 dB, and it boasts a dynamic range of 95 dB. The signal-to-noise ratio is rated at 100 dB and the total harmonic distortion factor is an impressively low 0.006%. Channel separation is also excellent at 95 dB. While it does not support CD-Text or MP3 playback, it allows for partial CD-R/CD-RW playback, features auto play via remote control, and enables title programming. However, shuffle play is not an available option.
